Was at a conference last weekend and went to Sooke to check out the rivers there but ended up fetting hit with the atmospheric river system so that didn’t work for river fishing.
This weekend was in Harrison and went with a buddy to try some chum and coho fishing.
Didn’t see any coho but managed to hook into a good number of chum. I was swinging flies while buddy was tossing spoons.
Fresh chum hit the spoon on a few occasions. and for me the flies that seemed to work were blue black, and chartreuse green Willy buggers.
Great day on the Harrison and kinda wishing we brought the sturgeon gear as the sturgeon fishing seemed to be on fire just around the corner from Kilby park.
Ended the day having dinner ar Sasquatch Park.
